Still Injured but Hitting the gym hard

I tried to race on Friday but I just wasn’t comfortable enough with my damaged bone spur to focus on my skiing. So I pulled from the second run and the race the next day and am having today and tomorrow away from boots still, training in the gym though. With the snow having finally come good now it’s a really frustrating time to be missing out on.

Then I will get back on snow Tuesday, with Super-G training on Wednesday and Thursday before heading up to the East Coast for the races in Mt Hutt on Saturday and Sunday. They are the final part of the races for the 100% New Zealand Winter Games, the largest competition of this kind in the Southern hemisphere.

I didn’t get to compete in them in the inaugural competition two years ago so it should be cool!
