Wild and Wet West Coast

The Feasey’s were invited to a friend’s birthday up on the West Coast at Haast last night.  Ever fantastic they kindly took me with them and offered to show me around a bit as well. We arrived and had a cool time partying in an aeroplane hangar on the airfield stuffed with Crayfish, firewood and Booze (what more could you ask for haha!!) Then we went down to sleep on the beach under the stars!! I slept surprisingly well considering there was a light frosting and we got up to watch the sunrise around Jackson’s bay, and though nobody was home we went for a nice trek through the ‘bush’ to a penguin beach!
